The Defiance County Board of Elections performs all administrative functions of the election process including precinct boundary changes, contracts for voting locations, candidate and campaign finance filings, ballot preparation, vote tabulation, and certification of candidates elected to office.

News & Dates to Remember
May 7, 2013 - Due to less candidates filing than seats for election, there will be no primary election in Defiance County.
September 21, 2013 - Overseas and Military ballots must be ready for the Nov. 5, 2013 election
October 1, 2013 - Early voting begins at the Board of Elections office
October 7, 2013 - Deadline for Voter Registration for the Nov 5, 2013 election
November 5, 2013 - General Election, polls open from 6:30am to 7:30pm
