Village Partisan Petitions for the May 2nd Primary are due by Wednesday, February 1, 2017 @ 4:00 p.m.

Independent Petition deadline for the 2017 General Election are due by Monday, May 1, 2017 @ 4:00 p.m.

Non-partisan petitions for City Council, (President, At-Large and 3rd Ward)) Local School Boards, and Township Trustees due by Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 2017

Next Board Meeting Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. (Certify Petitions and Regular Business of the Board)

Next Election - Tuesday, May 2, 2017 (Residents in the Defiance City School District)

The Defiance County Board of Elections performs all administrative functions of the election process including precinct boundary changes, contracts for voting locations, candidate and campaign finance filings, ballot preparation, vote tabulation, and certification of candidates elected to office.
