NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATON

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Education of Ayersville Local School District, passed on the 13th day of June 2009, there will be submitted to a vote of the people of said subdivision at a General Election to be held in the School District, at the regular places of voting therein, on the 3rd day of November 3, 2009, the question of levying a tax in the excess of the ten mill limitation, for the benefit of Ayersville Local School District for the purpose of general permanent improvements at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation for five years. Said tax constitutes a renewal levy. If a majority of the voters voting thereon vote in favor thereof, that levy will be first placed on the tax list and duplicated in 2009 for collection in calendar year 2010.

The polls for said election will be open at 6:30 o’clock and remain open until 7:30 o’clock of said day.

NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance to a resolution adopted on August 10, 2009 by the Board of County Commissioners, there will be submitted to the electors of Defiance County at an election to be held in the County at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, the question of levying a tax in excess of the ten-mill limitation for the benefit of the County for the establishment and operation of a 9-1-1 system as defined in Section 4931.40 of the Revised Code, and for a Countywide Public Safety Communications System under Section 307.63 of the Revised Code, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation which amounts to ten cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years. Said tax constitutes a replacement levy with a decrease levy. If a majority of the voters voting thereon vote in favor thereof, that levy will be first placed on the tax list and duplicated in 2009 for collection in calendar year 2010.

The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and will remain open until 7:30 p.m. of said day.

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance to a resolution adopted on August 3, 2009 by the Milford Township Board of Trustees, there will be submitted to the electors of Milford Township at an election to be held in the Township at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, November 3, 2009, the question of levying a tax in excess of the ten-mill limitation for the benefit of Milford Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation which amounts to twenty cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years. Said tax constitutes a renewal levy. If a majority of the voters voting thereon vote in favor thereof, that levy will be first placed on the tax list and duplicated in 2009 for collection in calendar year 2010.

The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and will remain open until 7:30 p.m. of said day.

NOTICE OF ELECTION ON TAX LEVY IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance to a resolution adopted on August 3, 2009 by the Richland Township Board of Trustees, there will be submitted to the electors of Richland Township at an election to be held in that Township at the regular places of voting therein, on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 the question of levying a tax in excess of the ten-mill limitation for the benefit of Richland Township for the purpose providing and maintaining fire apparatus, appliances, buildings, or sites therefore, or sources of water supply and materials therefore, or the establishment and maintenance of lines of fire alarm telegraph, or the payment of permanent, part-time, or volunteer firefighters or firefighting companies to operate the same, including the payment of the firefighter employers’ contribution required under Section 742.34 of the Revised Code, or the purchase of ambulance equipment, or the provision of ambulance, paramedic or other emergency medical service operated by a fire department or firefighting company, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation which amounts to twenty cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time. Said tax constitutes an additional levy. If a majority of the voters voting thereon vote in favor thereof, that levy will be first placed on the tax list and duplicated in 2009 for collection in calendar year 2010.

The polls for the election will be open at 6:30 a.m. and will remain open until 7:30 p.m. of said day.
