DIVE TEAM

The Defiance County Sheriff's Office Dive Team is made up of nine Deputies. The Dive Team is responsible for recovery, security, and evidence collection in any body of water, or waterway in Defiance County. The Dive Team has also been called upon on numerous occasions to assist other law enforcement and fire agencies with evidence collection, and vehicle recovery. The Dive Team has several units who have completed advanced specialty training in the areas of vehicle recovery, low visibility diving, evidence collection, and rescue diving.
