Deputy Cape has been a full time Deputy with the Sheriff's Office since December of 2005.  He started his career in law enforcement by attending Northwest State Community College after high school where he obtained an associate's degree in Criminal Justice.  Deputy Cape started his service with the Defiance County Sheriff's Office as an Associate Deputy in the Spring of 2005.  In his spare time, Deputy Cape enjoys outdoor sports as well as riding his motorcycle.
