Chris joined the Defiance County Sheriff's Office in 1991 as a Dispatcher. In 1994, he was assigned to Road Deputy. In 2002 Chris was promoted to Sergeant and is now a road supervisor. He is a Laser/Radar Instructor, Crime Scene Investigator, and is also a training officer for new deputies. Chris holds an associates degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana State University.
