2010 Defiance County Halloween Parade
The Defiance County Halloween parade held on October 30, 2010 and was another huge success. The weather cooperated with no rain and a slight breeze. The participants and spectators lined the city streets to enjoy the parade and festivities!
Defiance County Environmental and Administrative Services Director, Tim Houck and his family, participate in the float competition. Each year Tim and his wife, Jo Ellen develops a theme for the float and then applies that theme to the need to reduce, reuse and recycle! The float then ‘comes to life’ with the hard work of the Houck family: John & Jen Houck, Nicole & Steve Delaney, Angie Galusha, sister-in-law Virlynn Rex and the grandchildren: Brody, Brandon, Laney and Lilly.
Defiance County Environmental Services presents THE JUSTICE LEAGUE!
"Batman, we must stop the Joker and Catwoman from throwing away valuable pop cans and plastics."
"Right Superman, let's get them ---- POW ----- BAM!"
"We did it Robin. Everyone, reduce, reuse, and recycle for a cleaner, healthier Earth."
