Prenatal Visits by an RN help parents prepare for the baby before he/she is born while providing health and nutrition information. |
Newborn Home Visits by an RN
provide a physical assessment of the mother and baby and give parents the opportunity to ask an experienced registered nurse questions about topics like feeding, sleeping, and caring for a crying infant.
Newsletters, Parenting Tips, Workshops & Resource Lending Library
are offered to help parents with topics such as health, nutrition, safety, toilet training, behavior, and discipline.
Ongoing Home Visits
aim to strengthen the child's home environment by increasing parents' knowledge of developmental milestones, building parents' confidence, reducing family stress, and assisting families to discover and use community resources.
Parent-Child Activity Handouts and Recommendations
include ways to play with your child to promote learning and development (i.e.: helping your child walk or talk).
Developmental Screenings
let parents know how their child is developing compared to other children of the same age.

Evaluations & Assessments are conducted when it is suspected that a child is "behind" other children his/her age. Evaluations & Assessments measure the child's strengths and weaknesses in all areas of development and determine eligibility for Early Intervention services. |
Early Intervention Services/Specialized Services
are guaranteed to families who have child with a disability or a delay in one or more areas of development.
All children grow and develop differently, but some children need a little more help than others. Classes are available for infants, toddlers, and their families. Group and individual services may include Speech/Languages Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Vision, and Hearing services.
Transition to 3-5 Services
prepares children and families for preschool programs by informing parents about local options and helping families through the testing and enrollment process.

Other Services Feeling the Heat of the Summer? Room air conditioners are available for those who are income eligible and have proof of a medical reason from a doctor. If you know of anyone over 60 years of age needing a room air conditioner, they only need to be income eligible. Your may also qualify for some assistance with your electric bill. If you have central air conditioning, are income eligible and have proof of a medical reason from a doctor you may also qualify for assistance with your electric bill.
