If you wish to surrender an intractable dog that you own to the
Dog Warden there may be a small fee involved.
Rental of traps to catch nuisance animals requires a $40.00 deposit which is refunded when the trap is returned
The County
Dog Warden picks up dead dogs for disposal and takes them to the Shelter. There may be a small fee involved unless the dog is a stray.
Wild animals (raccoons, opossums, etc.) are better handled by the a
State Wildlife Officer, call the District Office in Findlay 419-424-5000, and
they will arrange for a Wildlife Officer to contact you, or you can call a nuisance animal
trapper. The Dog Warden's Office can give some numbers to call.
