Workers Compensation

Defiance County Public Safety Services is the reporting agency for county employees who are injured while on duty.

The agency also works closely with Comp Management to determine if additional information is required to expedite the claim for the employee.

We also investigate and follow-up with the department's employee to determine the cause and look at corrective measures to keep accidents from happening again.

We are responsible for monitoring all county department claims.

We are the coordinating agency between the Bureau of Workers Compensation and Comp Management, the County's administrative representative. For more information, please call (419) 782-1130.
