Welcome to the Defiance County Senior Services website! We offer several support services to the residents of Defiance County. Some of the services include:
Meal Programs
Defiance County Senior Services provides Congregate Meals at our two Centers, Hot Home Delivered Meals and Frozen Meals.
Grocery Shopping Assistance
Help with groceries is a service available weekly.
Medicare Part D
Information and assistance with Medicare Part D is available.
Rest & Recuperation Program
Volunteers are ready and willing to assist in the homes of Seniors who are caring for a chronically ill senior who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

Notary Services
Notary Services are available to serve all Defiance County. Defiance area, call Sue or Robin at (419) 782-3233. Hicksville area, call Pat at (419) 542-5004.

Legal Assistance is available at the Defiance Senior Center Please call Kathy at (419) 782-3233 to set up an appointment.

A free confidential online service that helps determine different benefit programs you may be eligible for. The questionnaire takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and gives you a listing details beneficial services and programs. - NCOA
The National Council on Aging - a Visitors Center that can link you to many other beneficial sites within the aging network. Also informs you on many National issues and gives you an opportunity to respond. - AOA
The Administration on Aging - includes many timely articles on a variety of Senior benefits, social and health issues. - MediCare
