Township Zoning Commission meeting was called to order by the Chair Mr.
Richard Wagner. The Chair
instructed the clerk to called the roll. Answering
as present were: Zoning Commission members Richard Wagner - chair,
Randy Wilde, Wayne Schaffer and Paul Zipfel.
There being four of five members present a quorum was declared.

Mr. Robert Layne, Mr.

A letter from Defiance County Planning Commission recommending approval of the
zoning request change.
The Commission per procedure reviewed the proposal at its monthly (December)
meeting and provided comment to the Zoning Commission.
Mr. Schlegel Twp Zoning Inspector,
asked for clarification relative to the property to be re-zoned, asking if the parcel was
two five acre lots or one ten acre lot.
Mr. Baden noted that the parcel is per
the County Auditors records presently one 10 acre unit.
There were no further comments offered.
Chairman Wagner after hearing all comments requested a motion for the approval or
denial of the request.

called the roll :
The motion to
recommend to the Trustees the rezoning from Agriculture to Residential r-1passed.
There being no
further business to come before the Defiance Township Zoning Commission Mr.
Wagner requested a motion to adjourn the meeting.
The meeting adjourned.
