DEFIANCE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

THURSDAY, MAY 10, 2007

The Board of Defiance County Commissioners met in regular session on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 8:30 a.m., in the Conference Room of the Defiance County Commissioners, 500 Court Street, Defiance, OH 43512. Commissioner Otto L. Nicely called the meeting to order. Also present were Commissioner James E. Harris, Jr., Becky Wagner, County Administrator, Joanne Goerlitz, and Sherry Carnahan, Deputy Clerks.

General Session – The Commissioners were presented with various resolutions and documents for approval. The Commissioners reviewed agenda items, discussed upcoming meetings, and reviewed and updated the calendar of events.

Becky Wagner, Defiance County Administrator, presented a weekly update to the Board. The Master Gardeners have completed the landscaping at the Defiance County East building. The stairway project behind the Commissioner’s Office should be completed this week, depending on the weather.

William Bierie, CEO of Maumee Valley Guidance Center presented Commissioner Nicely a plaque for his contributions to the behavioral health services network of Defiance, Fulton, Henry and Williams Counties.
