The Board of Defiance County Commissioners met in regular session on
Monday, June 4, 2007 at 8:30 a.m., in the Conference Room of the Defiance
County Commissioners, 500 Court Street, Defiance, OH 43512. Commissioner Otto L. Nicely called the
meeting to order. Also present were
Commissioners Thomas L. Kime and James Harris, Jr., Becky Wagner,
General Session – The Commissioners were presented with various
resolutions and documents for approval.
The Commissioners reviewed agenda items, discussed upcoming meetings,
reviewed and updated the calendar of events.
Jane Tadsen, Defiance County Recorder, reported recording 209 Deeds, 288
Mortgages, 195 Releases, and 4 Power of Attorneys. The total of the month of May, 2007 was
$32,501.25 of which $16,038.50 went toward the Housing Trust Fund and
$16,462.75 went toward General Fund.
Russ Herman, Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, met with the Commissioners
to update them on pending issues in the Prosecutor's office.
The Commissioners will be conducting a Hearing on the Farmer-Mark Tile
Project on Monday, June 25, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Farmer Fire hall located
at the corner of SR 249 and
The Joint Board of Defiance and Williams County Commissioners met for
the Bid Opening of the Lost Creek #99-8 Improvement Project. Bid proposals were received at the appointed
time of 1:30 p.m. as follows: Sines
