DEFIANCE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2007

The Board of Defiance County Commissioners met in regular session at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2007 in the Conference Room in the Commissioners Office at 500 Court Street, Suite A, Defiance, Ohio 43512. Chairman Otto L. Nicely called the meeting to order. Also present were Commissioners Thomas L. Kime and James E. Harris, Jr., Laura Howell, County Administrator, Cara Brown, Clerk, and Joanne Goerlitz, Deputy Clerk

Rick Edmunds, Director of Good Samaritan School, met with the Commissioners to provide an update on Good Sam School. The Commissioners also discuss the school’s water and sewer rates and the possibility of the area being annexed. Rick advised that he would need to speak with the MRDD Board concerning these issues and will get back with the Commissioners.

Warren Schlatter, Defiance County Engineer, met with the Commissioners to provide an update. Warren advised that Engineer’s office will be opening quotes for the Farmer-Mark Ditch Tile Project on December 17, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in the Commissioners meeting room.

The Commissioners then entered into Executive Session to discuss personnel compensation. Executive Session ended with no decision being made.
