Permits & Inspection Fees

Driveway Access Permit

No charge for permit or inspection, unless unusual installation is required.

NOTE:  Installation must be inspected.

 

Ditch Enclosure Permit

No charge for permit or inspection, unless unusual installation is required.

NOTE:  Installation must be inspected.

 

Right-of-way Occupancy Permit

$10.00 – Processing fee for initial inspection to develop specifications

$25.00 – Issuance of permit and final inspection

 

Sanitary/Storm water Discharge Permit

$10.00 – Processing fee for initial inspection to develop specifications

$25.00 – Issuance of permit and final inspection

 

Special Hauling Permit

$10.00 – Single move trip overweight/oversized vehicle

$25.00 – Single move trip & return for overweight/oversized vehicle – Valid for 14 days

            $5.00 – Additional 14 day extension

$35.00 – Special overweight (Super Loads) which covers the cost of prior route inspection, videotaping, etc.

$25.00 – Annual over weight/oversize per truck in any one company ( Up to 4 trucks)

$125.00 – Annual for fleet in any one company over five trucks

NOTE:            Trip endorsements required for each trip on annual permits—no charge

                        All annual permits issued are based on a calendar year and expires 12/31 of the year issued.

 

Utility Right-of-way Use

$25.00 + – Short utility or aerial installation

$25.00 + – Boring, open cuts or trenching of line in a single location

$100.00 + – Waterline/sanitary projects, communication lines, poles, etc. for multiple locations

+ Cost of relocation of said utility within the right-of-way, in accordance with utility’s policy, if required by the County Engineer

No charge for replacement of single pole in same hole.

 

Inspection Fees

$40.00/hour to cover inspector’s and clerical hour rates w/benefits

$15.00 Vehicle fee
