BID NOTICE: LAND OR SALE
The Defiance Township Trustees will be accepting sealed bids for the sale of one acre more or less of property owned by the Township. This property is located on Harding Rd. Bids will be received by the Township Fiscal Officer until 7:00p.m. on August 26th, 2014, after which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud during that evening’s Township meeting. The meeting is held at the Defiance County Commissioners Building – 2nd Floor Conference Room - 500 Court Street - Defiance, Ohio 43512.
After all bids have been opened and read aloud, those bidders who submitted a sealed bid and are present at the Township meeting will have the right to raise their written bid.
The following is a description of the property to be sold:
One acre more or less unimproved
Parcell number is B11-0003-0-009-00
Property is located on Harding Rd in section 3, PT SW ¼ NE, Defiance Township,, southwest of the city limits of Defiance.
Property is zoned residential
THE PROPERTY WILL BE SOLD AS IS !
Sealed bids should be submitted marked “ Bid for Township Harding Rd property.” Submit bids prior to the Township meeting to: Tim Houck, Defiance Township Fiscal Officer – 8 Deville Drive – Defiance, Ohio, 43512,
present sealed bid in person by 7:00 p.m. at the August 26th, Township meeting.
Terms: Cash or check payable to The Defiance Township within 30 days of Trustee’s approval of the bid.
