NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – DELAWARE-DEFIANCE JOINT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT I

Please take notice that the Defiance Township Board of Trustees will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Defiance County Commissioners Building, second floor conference room, 500 Court Street, Defiance, Ohio 43512, regarding creation of the Delaware-Defiance Joint Economic Development District I (the “JEDD”). The proposed JEDD will include 13 parcels within the JEDD boundaries for the purpose of facilitating economic development to create jobs and employment opportunities.

The public is invited to make comments and recommendations on the proposed creation of the JEDD. Documents and materials relating to the creation of the JEDD and the terms of its operation may be examined at the office of the Defiance Township Fiscal Officer, Julie Voll, by appointment by calling 419-438-0908.
