Defiance Township

NOTICE

The Defiance Township Trustees hereby make notice of their 2026 annual budget/reorganizational/general session. This session will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Defiance County Commissioners Building, second floor conference room, 500 Court Street, Defiance, OH 43512.

Further, the Trustees make notice they will continue to consider the Defiance Township Zoning Commission’s proposed amendments to the Defiance Township Zoning Resolution and/or Zoning Map(s). These proposed amendments include (1) the fine charged for noncompliance of zoning codes and (2) the allowable duration for recreational vehicles. These matters will be addressed during the annual budget/reorganizational/general session on January 13, 2026 as detailed above. If necessary, these matters will be further addressed during the regular session of the Defiance Township Trustees to be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Defiance County Commissioners Building, second floor conference room, 500 Court Street, Defiance, OH 43512.
